Certain applications may require Mechanical System for conveying of fly ash. For transportation / feeding / blending / classification of fly ash in cement industry,
we also offer various systems like bagging/bag unloading system, truck/tanker loading/unloading system, wagon loading/unloading system, bucket elevator system, air slide system, weigh bin system, classifier system, blending system, etc. as per the application requirement as a part of total turnkey package. Pneumatic Conveying System
- Long distance conveying is possible. Hence destination silos can be placed at convenient location within the plant / outside plant boundary wall.
- There is no limitation on layout or number of bends.
- Systems are versatile to handle varied nature of materials from fine to coarse particles. It is important to know the granulometry of material being handled before designing the system.
- Higher handing capacity is possible over specified conveying distance.
- This is a low velocity conveying, hence wear to the material conveying pipes is less.
- Energy efficient systems. Compressed air is consumed during material conveying only.
- Unique design of Dome Valve offers 100% sealing when closed and full bore unobstructed flow of material when open.
Dense Phase Pneumatic Conveying Has Following Distinct Advantages Over Conventional Lean Phase Conveying:
In certain applications which call for bottom ash available in slurry form to be disposed-off either through trucks or through high concentration slurry disposal system along with fly ash, Macawber Beekay’s De-watering Bin System takes precedence. De-watering bins with the decanting system remove water from the bottom ash and this water can be recycled through a set of settling tanks, surge tanks, transfer pumps, etc. The bottom ash collected in the bin can be either periodically removed through trucks or fed to high concentration slurry disposal system for disposal in paste form along with fly ash, as per plant’s requirement.
